| How Does it Work? |
| GalleryServer was designed so that non-technical people can administer and update their website. You don't need to know HTML, JavaScript, or SQL (computer geek stuff). You don't need to hire a programmer, and most importantly, you don't need to pay someone every time you want to update your site because you can do it yourself! All you need is a familiarity with surfing the web.
Using a digital camera or scanner to create the images, you can add merchandise in as little as one step…just fill out a form. The software will upload the image, insert all of the information about he piece (price, size, description, etc.) into the database, and make it available for your customers to purchase on-line.

| What about e-commerce? |
| In the years that we’ve been doing this, we’ve found that most galleries really want to talk to their customers in person. E-Commerce doesn’t allow for this. If you think it would be appropriate for your web site however, we’d be happy to set it up for you. Give us a call so we can discuss it. |
| What about security? |
| The administrative interface is password protected, and in some cases (depending on type of internet access being used), available to only certain computers. The servers are stored behind a firewall and in a secure building. They are backed up to tape on a regular basis. |
